Mike Bracken cites actress-turnedsinger Jennifer Lopez as a prime example of how actors trying to have a singing career don't always meet with the level of success they might desire.

"(She) has had her commercial success, but really, can we call her a musician,’’ he says. "Her music has been processed more than the average can of Spam.’’

Personally, I think Eddie Murphy is a better example.
