Jennifer Lopez Urges Fans To Help Child Victims Of Katrina

Husband-and-wife singing duo JENNIFER LOPEZ and MARC ANTHONY have appealed to fans to help young victims of Hurricane Katrina by donating money to a children's charity. .

The pair have pledged a substantial sum to the Children's Health Fund's Operation Assist - and they want others to follow suit.

It's interesting that there isn't an actual dollar amount attached to this news. I can only assume that other celebrities have met with bad press from the perception that they weren't generous enough. Anyway, it's great that they are giving, and urging fans to give as well.
